Brian Bennett, having just completed a first 60-year Chinese astrological cycle of the Wood Sheep, is wandering with characteristically zealous indifference into a second.

Grazing through life as he has, the place where he is at any given time has usually been where the fodder has led him.  Where that is now, for 12 years (and, alas, counting), is Santa Fe, New Mexico, where the fodder, not particularly tasty, has mostly been at least nutritious.
